Referral Associates can earn referral fee income by simply picking up the phone and passing along the name of a prospective lead that eventually buys or sells a home through the system. When the transaction closes, the referral agent receives a portion of the commission.

Membership is simple. There is one annual administrative fee to affiliate with Referrals by BPRE, LLC. Your state will also require license renewal fees and any continuing education (CE) costs as required by DPOR. There are no MLS fees, no board dues, and no E&O insurance costs when you are affiliated as a referral-only agent.

Referral income depends on the referral fee agreed to and the split outlined in your Independent Contractor Agreement. Standard referral fees in the industry range between 25–35% of the gross commission, though they can be higher or lower depending on the arrangement. After the fee is received by Referrals by BPRE, LLC, your portion is disbursed to you within 7 business days.
Yes. Even though you are not an active sales agent, your license is active. All Virginia licensees must complete continuing education and renewals as required by DPOR.
Yes! If you are buying or selling your own home, you can structure the deal as a referral and receive a referral fee—just like you would for any other client.
